TRIP TO MOROCCO

 

The Government of Morocco assisted by Peace Child International will hold the Second World Congress of Youth in Casablanca, Morocco in August 2003. The final goal of this Congress is to sign The Casablanca Declaration.


A NEW MEMBER

 

We are happy to have a new member of the team, an old friend from high school who moved to Chicago two years ago. The geographical distance will not be an obstacle for Adana to participate actively.

Important! Spring day in Europe

 

Spring day in Europe has started…please log into Schoolnet (the last link on the left) and onto the Forum. A lot of discussions and interesting ideas have come out of this. Special thanks to Mr Romano Prodi, who has payed attention to the problems of the Youth a special message from Romano Prodi, President of the European Commission, to all the Spring Day in Europe participants and very very special thanks to Brigitte Parry, who has been a great support along the way.

The next round of This is our Time Classroom Twinning will take place on the forums from March 9th to May 9th.The first theme for discussion will be "National Stereotypes". A definition of stereotypes and an English language activity on the subject followed by discussion questions has already been posted in the TCT Schoolnet community in the document area under lesson plans and a detailed page on how to proceed will be posted there soon.
