Timeproject

Good afternoon, all participants of the World Conference “This is our time”! We are glad to take part in this conference and want to tell you about our school and our activity. We joined ASP last year and tried to do our best our schoolchildren could make some contribution into keeping Ukrainian culture. Our school is working on the project connected with the Ukrainian cultural heritage This project consists of some programmes. Children are busy with different kinds of activity such as propaganda of healthy way of life, keeping Urainian culture and getting a good education. Besides our school cooperate with a school in Pridnestrovie which is under our patronage. This school is Ukranian, but they are far from Ukraine and the children of the school are very interested in Ukranian culture. We help them with the books, different things, which are made by the hands of our children and we are waiting for their coming in Kyiv soon where we’ll be able to show them a lot of places of interest of our city.
As for Timeproject our school initiated organization of the round table with the children of some Kyiv schools. Today we have met schoolchildren from four different schools of our city and discussed different problems connected with the topic of World Conference “This is Our Time”and the global UNESCO programme “World heritage is in our hands”. Children have communicated to each other on these topics and shared their opinions. All of them are interested in keeping our culture and worried about a lot of negative cases, which are spread among young people such as smoking, drug addiction, drinking alkohol and so on. They critisize TV for lots of violence scenes and dull advertisments on it. All of them want to be useful for our country and the main task for them is getting a good education. They are realists and realize clearly that they will be able to help our country only if they have a good education. More over they hope that UNESCO will help them to find new friends all over the word and they will cooperate together.

On behalf of teachers and schoolchildren of our school
