A lot of poems have been devoted to our town. We celebrate the jubilee of one in this year. It will be 500 years old. Children of CHOKRAK studio study town history with pleasure, ethnograph and Crimean Tatar, Greek, Karaite, Bulgarian, Armenian culture heritage. Representatives of this nations settled our Crimea. Therefore the theme "Respecting Diversity" very close to us.

CHOKRAK can be translate from Crimea-Tatar language as a SPRING. SPRING
is a source of fantasy, diligence and talent. In our studio take place
lessons on study of local lore, ethnography, modeling of Crimea
architecture monuments, computer graphic and animation. More information

Since February 2002 children's publishing house begun to work. We make
up pages, public it and distribute sole children's newspaper on
Crimea-Tatar language in Crimea ("Joy"). We have won in competition
"History of my town", which were been carried by RELARN association, in
april. We represented there site "Bakhchisaray - my sole"
