SUBJECT: Time and Man. Man and Time.

Lesson-immersion, 4 hours

Aims:
1. Develop panto-educational skills, allow adequately perceive surrounding world and form science world outlook.
2. Continue work by forming "time" notion, using material different learning subjects: physics, biology, history, literature.


EQUIPMENT:
1. Learning film "Special theory of relativity".
2. Dictionaries: explanatory, philosophic, etymological, physics, geologic.
3. Suits of representatives of different historic ages, suits of different animals.
4. Music from "Youth of Peter" film, classic music, modern melodies.
5. Puzzles by geo-chronological table
6. Videofilm "Evolution of life at Earth". Videofilm "Museum of time"
7. Reproductions: Vrubel "The Demon prostrate", Borisov-Musatov "Chosts", Petrov-Vodkin "Bathing of red horse".
8. Models of ancient animals and plants.
9. Maps: physical map of Russia, tectonic map of Russia, map of time zones.
10. Portraits of historic figures.

What is the Time?
When people asks me,
I know, what the speech means.

Course of lesson:

1. Report of topic and aims of lesson
2. Raising of problem: What is the Time mean?
? Result of questionnaire design of students of high school: "What is associations the word "time" call? (clock, fate, happiness, lesson, modernity, seasons)
? Work with dictionaries: explanatory, philosophic, etymological, physics, geologic.
CONCLUSION: time is many-sided: astronomic, historic, cosmic, geologic, biologic, psychological, sacred.

1. PHYSIC AND TIME
• Classic principle of Galilee's relativity (report of students)
• Special Theory of Relativity of Einstein (oversight of educational film " Special Theory of Relativity ")
CONCLUSION: flow of time depends from speed of motion solids, that is to say, conception "time" is relative.

2. HISTORIC TIME
In accord of Einstein (creator of Theory of Relativity), time is scale, where we can place events, but the same Einstein once day said: “Time is that see, when look at clock”.

• Which imperfections do previous calendars have from expediency of point of view of using in life? (frontal discussion with class). Reform of calendar by Gregory VIII (report of a teacher)
• Introduction of Gregorian calendar in Russia by Peter I (in costume report, sound-track from “Youth of Peter” film)
• Reform of calendar by Bolsheviks in 1917. (in costume report of students with music of “Whirlwind hostile is spread at us”
• “Excursion in Museum of Time” (videofilm is shooted by students about time-measuring devices)

CONCLUSION: Gregorian calendar is found inexact, after the lapse of 3300 years, mistake is accumulating by day size. Periodically necessary will flow about new reforms of calendar.

3. GEOGRAPHY AND TIME
Historians measure time by centuries, but geologists by millions of years.
A) Geologic chronology of Earth (“excursion” in past of Earth).
Class divides at 4 commands, every of them make a “portrait” of geologic age, using keywords and puzzles, video fragments, pictures and models of fossilized plants and animals.

• Game ???? “Let’s guess!”


4. BIOLOGY AND TIME.

Time divide into years, months, days, hours, seconds. Biologists allocate biological and psychological hours.
Concepts of a biorhythm and bioritmologi (the story of the teacher);
The Reasons of biorhythms (rotation of the Earth around of the Sun, about the axis, phases of the Moon);
Life and fundamental thesis of the A. Chizhevsky theory (influence of solar activity on organic life of the Earth and the social phenomen of life of a society);
Biorhythms of plants (a quiz about biological "hours", abilities of some plants to open and close a nimbus of a flower in same time of day). The analysis of the circular diagram "Biology clocks" (conversation with a class);
Biorhythms of animals and the person (conversation). A fragment of business game. The Speech of the doctor about biorhythms of the person, their influence on a physical and emotional condition of the person.

Conclusion: all alive has internal hours on which daily, seasonal activity of alive organisms and their behaviour depends. The person has a displacement of a cycle on 1 hour.
Concepts of time zones are connected to biorhythms of the person.
? different tasks on definition of zone and local time during air flight (game).
A conclusion: value of biorhythms in human lifes and preventive actions for preservation of health of the person.


4. LITERATURE AND TIME

Psychological time - is time of our inner experiences.
?) subjective sensation of time. Discussion of subjective sensation of time in the following situations:
- in an armchair of the dentist;
- at a lesson of Algebra: examination, and you are not ready.
- rendezvous with beloved…
- ?) time and the creative person: the pointed perception of time by genious people. On a boundary of centuries there is a crisis of outlook, which is accompanied by reassessment of values and creation of new forms in the literature, for example, in poetry. " We shall listen attentively to voices of poets … " (a literary - musical composition by works of poets of the Siver Age).


Conclusion: each poet - is a striking individuality, but at the same time - is a mirror of the time.

INFERENCE
Time - the major factor of existence of the world and the person.
Time is diverse: astronomical, historical, space, biological, psychological and even sacral.
With beginning of calendars and the invention of clock people began to live in beat machines. Time began to not suffice constantly. Our life was considerably sped up. All quickly varies: fashion, styles in architecture, hairdresses, philosophical concepts, knowledge in general. We live our life with such intensity, with such quantity of impressions which to the person of the last centuries would suffice on some lifes. It is good, on the one hand. But with another, the stream of the information is accompanied by stresses, mental diseases. It is so important to live the full life !

Will ever come an end of the time?
In physicists opinion, the Universe will extend and become more and more unloaded. Sometime its substance will break up, and then there will be only light particles for which will not a time. It is difficult to imagine! This size has come to us from the universe, and will disappear with its disappearance!
Time and life are eternal!
