Lesson on UN/UNESCO: Painting your culture

visit website UNESCO

Painting your culture challenges students to take a closer look at their own culture. After brainstorming about their own culture and heritage sites they are more conscious and more concerned about their own culture. This approach stimulates the students to put their own ideas in this activity. Painting your culture enables the students to be co-operative and creative and is therefore a fun approach to teach the students about their own culture.

Learning objective

- To gain more knowledge about their own culture
- To gain more communicative skills by discussing about this subject
- By working in groups, students will enforce their skills of co-operation and communication
