White Oaks Public School in London, Canada  AND
Szkola Podstawowa nr 1, Zaweircie., Poland TIED for Fifth

It was incredible that two schools had the exact same score (although this has happened before) and that only 1 answer separated first from second and only 1 answer each for third through fifth. A remarkable achievement that the research efforts were that close. Congratulations to our TOP 5 scoring schools.

NEXT 5 scores
Oğuzhan Özkaya Science High School,  Izmir, Turkey
Isis Sacile Brugnera, Sacile, Italy
Gimnazija Bjelovar, Bjelovar, Croatia
Gimnzija Bernardina Frankopana, Ogulin, Croatia
Vaels International School, Chennai, India Tied with
I Gimnazija Zagreb, Zagreb, Croatia  to round out the top 10 scores.

In total 31 schools were challenged with 275 questions spanning 12 different countries in one of the most challenging tests in years. The goal of the event is to have students teach other students about their home, the things they are proud about,  things they want others to know about their culture and most importantly to UNITE THE NATIONS through friendly collaboration and competition.  We look forward to next year’s event. Congratulations to all of the participants.

Congratulations to our TWO Champions for this year –             LORD ELGIN PUBLIC SCHOOL IN LONDON CANADA  and GEODETSKA TEHNICKA SKOLA IN ZAGREB CROATIA
